Scion Nonprofit seeks a Creative Content Lead for our fantastic client, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing conservation initiatives and sharing discoveries through innovative media. A prominent philanthropic organization supports our client’s initiative and collaborates with leading media, science, and philanthropy partners.

This incredible full-time, hybrid opportunity is based in Singapore.

This visionary Creative Content lead will drive the development of mixed reality, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) projects, focusing on ocean-related storytelling. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision, technical expertise, and strategic insight to lead immersive media initiatives. This Creative Content Lead is expected to be an innovative and operational lead, conceptualizing and managing multiple projects based on our client’s content gathered during scientific missions. This role requires a visionary leader with creative genius, technical expertise, and strategic thinking who can push the boundaries of storytelling and interactive experiences in science and nature.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and execute creative strategies for immersive media projects aligned with our mission. 
• Lead the creation of ocean-related immersive experiences, incorporating scientific content from our missions.
• Manage AR/VR fellowships and residencies, guiding participants in content creation. 
• Collaborate with media and science teams to provide content for AR/VR developers. 
• Build partnerships to produce high-quality educational AR/VR content. 
• Oversee the creative process from concept to final production, ensuring project deadlines are met. 
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide creative strategies. 
• Lead student and educational programs in developing AR/VR content. 
• Evaluate proposals for future AR/VR and mixed reality projects. 
• Manage budgets and timelines using project management tools. 

• BA or MA in Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field. 
• 8+ years in creative roles, with at least 4 years focused on mixed reality, AR/VR, and immersive content.
• Expertise in mixed reality and AR/VR platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, and WebXR).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, spatial computing, holographic technologies, optimizing 3D assets using tools such as Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, and more.
• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative AR/VR projects. Reels are great!
• Up-to-date knowledge of AR/VR technologies and trends, with global industry connections. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technologies and global trends, including AR/VR and generative AI.
• Experience/exposure to Monday.com, Slack, and Zoom.
