Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Project Administrator/ Accountant on behalf of our client, an environmental consulting firm in Sacramento, CA. This is a direct-hire, on-site position available for immediate hire!
Responsibilities:
Review and manage project contracts, ensuring all financial terms and conditions are adhered to.
Monitor and track project progress, including costs, and investigate any variances.
Assist Project Managers with the development of project plans, schedules, and workflows.
Maintain organized project files and ensure that all documentation is up to date.
Accurately process vendor and subcontractor invoices, as well as employee expense reports, within established timelines.
Ensure timely and accurate billing processes.
Assist the Controller with payment collection efforts.
Track and maintain records of project costs and related expenses.
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding billing requirements and payment status.
Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Support project closeout processes upon contract completion.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to offer support and assist with technical issues.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Previous relevant accounting or project finance experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe.
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on internal and external relationships.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Compensation:
This position offers an annual salary between $95,000-$105,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, vacation and sick days, and additional optional benefits.
