Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Program Coordinator for our client, an amazing organization that focuses on supporting caregivers and adoptive parents throughout Ohio! This is a great opportunity to be part of an impactful growing nonprofit. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity working a hybrid schedule!

Position Description
The Program Coordinator directly support the Program Manager in administrative tasks including calendar management, scheduling meetings across statewide teams, serving as the point of contact between external consultants, and maintaining databases and spreadsheets. This position will play a pivotal role in organizing project files and records, preparing reports, and ensuring project deliverables are presented in a timely manner. Additionally, this role will support to advance the mission and impact of projects and programs across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Schedule meetings, coordinate related communications, and provide necessary follow-up.

  • Take detailed meeting and training session notes for documentation purposes.

  • Prepare various reports, presentations, and communications.

  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for team members.

  • Ensure staff members have necessary supplies and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot technology and operational issues as needed.

  • Manage data, records, and reports, including data entry and utilization of project management tools and systems.

  • Serve as a thought partner to Program Manager regarding project ideas and strategies.

  • Collaborate with program coordinators across the organization, assessing areas of improvement.

  • Participate in inclusion, diversity, equity, and access initiatives and contribute strategically to program development efforts.

  • Assist with special projects and assignments as required.


What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in social services, management, public policy, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative capacity; project or program management capacity, a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated ability of supporting teams in a hybrid working environment.

  • Possess strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

  • Experience working within the nonprofit, child welfare, social services, academia, or government settings, preferred.

  • Skilled in virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and Teams platforms.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office, particularly SharePoint

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.


Compensation
This opportunity offers an annual salary of $40,000 - $50,000 plus a full and robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement plans, and a generous amount of paid time off plus additional floating holidays.
