Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Clinical Program Director for a distinguished nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring hope, health, and healing by providing high-quality mental health care to children and their families in Central Texas. This dynamic leader will oversee the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of all the organization's programs, playing a crucial role in maintaining the standards set by the Executive Director and Board of Directors. This full-time, on-site position will report to the COO and CEO and have direct supervisory responsibilities over clinical and program staff.

The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal communication skills, capable of directly facilitating programs and groups while managing the overall program strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Leadership
  • Manage a focused caseload of 5 individual clients.
  • Ensure timely completion of client records, including clinical treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments to evaluate client and group progress.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and graduate interns, collaborating with Board-Approved Supervisors and LPC clinicians.

Program Management and Evaluation
  • Oversee implementation, evaluation, and direction of all programs.
  • Conduct timely assessments and evaluations of programs in alignment with grant deliverable timelines.
  • Develop and maintain annual program calendar to meet grant requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead intern and camp trainings, as well as select community trainings, with team support.
  • Spearhead community outreach initiatives with key stakeholders and referral sources.
  • Ensure prompt completion of program data for outcome and grant reporting.
  • Implement and optimize program management software and other administrative tools across all programs, including reporting functions.
  • Manage and engage program volunteers effectively.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the C.O.O. on strategic initiatives and additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's Degree in social work or counseling (LMSW, LPC-A, LCSW, or LPC).
  • Current Texas professional licensure in good standing.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed and evidence-based modalities, including play therapy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Self-motivated and highly driven.
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and management skills.
  • Adaptability and quick learning ability for new processes and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Prioritize and multi-task effectively.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exercise sound judgment in clinical and programmatic decision-making.
    • Lead and manage a team of clinicians or clinical interns.
Preferred
  • LPC or LCSW with 2+ years of management experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • RPT (Registered Play Therapist) or RPT-S certification in good standing.
  • Experience with or training in play therapy.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The Clinical Program Director role offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package that features medical and dental insurance, generous vacation and holiday leave, paid sick leave, a substantial professional development stipend, bereavement leave, and all benefits and privileges mandated under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
