Scion Nonprofit Staffing (https://www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com/) is searching for a talented Foundation Contracts & Operations Manager for our client, a growing nonprofit in the conservation world. This position is based in Seattle, Washington, and will work remotely while the office is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

What you’ll be doing:
 
  • Support the Associate Director of Finance and Operations by overseeing processes, contracts, and production requirements.
  • Partner with departments to support the organizations’ strategies and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage crucial administrative, financial, and contractual activities for several internal specialty areas.
  • Ensure efficient and effective project management activities occur between teams.
  • Create and oversee contracts, co-production agreements, compile and confirm invoices, as well as manage intake forms.
  • Pinpoint contracts and agreements needed and ensure internal alignment.
  • Continuously find ways to improve contract and agreement processes.
  • Proactively examine the schedule of activities and monitor contract and agreement milestones against targets.
  • Correctly interpret legal language in contracts and grants.

What you have to offer:
 
  • 5+ years of project and or program management expertise.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Understanding of startup environments.
  • 3+ years of experience working with contracts including, understanding, reviewing, and drafting legal terms.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency partnering with programmatic and or creative teams.
  • Strong organizational, time, and project management abilities.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently including, prioritizing, planning, delegating, and coordinating with internal teams.
