Scion Staffing, an award-winning recruitment firm, is seeking a highly motivated and upbeat Communications and Search Associate to join our team in our expanding Austin, TX office! Reporting to the Regional Director of Staffing, this full time role is currently remote and will eventually operate out of our Austin office.

Scion Staffing seeks a driven, technology-savvy, and recruitment-minded professional who is hungry to learn and lead processes that will significantly benefit the growth and successful operation of our award-winning search firm. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about leadership and career growth! This position is (60%) administrative and talent sourcing: writing, editing, recruiting and coordination duties, (20%) administrative human resource-based work, (15%) candidate scheduling and phone/email recruiting coordination, and (5%) project work.

This exciting position directly contributes to tangible work on behalf of the Search team; working with candidate sourcing, recruiting processes, marketing, client/candidate correspondence, research, and related social media job marketing and recruitment tasks.

Key position responsibilities:

  • Write candidate profiles/presentations.
  • Track, review, and manage executive candidates to help Scion find exceptional talent for our clients.
  • Assist in organization and project management related to completion of work.
  • Support the development of talent pipelines and ranking of candidates.
  • Schedule and organize calendars for searches/prospects.
  • Edit and proofread emails and documents.
  • Create proposals that showcase the work of our firm.
  • Conduct social media and online marketing activities to bring awareness to our local and national openings.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Positive attitude and hunger to do real work and make a difference!
  • BA/BS and an interest in working in staffing/recruiting.
  • 2 - 10+ prior years of Administrative or Human Resource experience.
  • Successful track record utilizing and quickly learning various databases and software programs.
  • A demonstrated interest in HR/Recruiting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven success in working and learning quickly with strong attention to detail.
  • Desire to work hard, have fun, and drive projects to completion!
  • Ability to travel to California/Oregon once to twice a year for employee/team building events.

 

Salary and Benefits:

This position starts as a full-time role and has 100% paid individual health (including health, vision and dental) coverage. The starting base pay salary ranges from $42,000 to $45,000 (DOE), plus makes additional commissions on the searches you support on after 90 days and has annually salary reviews and raises. We grow our staff's compensation over time and this position has very strong room for growth for motivated professionals.
