Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for a Nonprofit Recruiter with a leading nonprofit within the education space! This is a Remote, Contract opportunity offering a competitive pay rate, the flexibility of working remote, and the chance to make a positive impact within the education space. This role is slated as a 3-month minimum contract with the potential for extension.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Per Requisition, design and implement overall recruiting strategies
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications (as needed)
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, employee referrals, etc
•  Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Conduct recruiter interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven work experience as a Recruiter 3+ years within the nonprofit space
•  Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral, etc.)
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
•  Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstration of candidate experience and follow through skills is required.
• Strong decision-making skills
• BS/MS in Human Resources Management

COMPENSATION:

This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $25-35+ / hr DOE
