Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Commercial Construction Superintendent for our client, an established general contracting company that specializes in tenant improvements, commercial interiors, and commercial project management, with an office located in Portland, OR! This exciting on-site, direct-hire opportunity will make a significant contribution to our client’s success within a wide array of fields and industries!

- Direct-hire, 40 hours a week with flexible schedule!
The Role:
- Schedule and coordinate ALL on-site construction related activities
- Assist PM with project submittal process and maintain submittal log
- Maintain project schedule utilizing Microsoft Project
- Write RFI’s and send to PM for approval
- Send out SI or ASI’s to appropriate subcontractors
- Filing electronic construction documents/photos
- Assist PM with change orders and change order scope
- Maintain a Daily Log
- Keep the jobsite clean and safe
- Introduce yourself to all neighboring tenants and keep tenants informed of the extent of work
- Instruct tenants to contact you concerning any disturbances or issues created by construction
- Maintain all temporary barricades and ensure inspection compliance
The Requirements:
- Prior construction supervisory experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Exceptional communication & polished interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of industry standards
- Strong technical skillset in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Project, and project management software
