Scion Staffing, Inc. (www.scionstaffing.com), a full-service staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contract/Temp Certified Medical Assistant for our client, a well-respected medical group in Denver. This role is a full-time, in-office ongoing contract role based in Englewood, CO. We are seeking the right candidate for an ASAP start!

Position Overview:

This role will help set up patients and physicians for success by obtaining patient history details, making updates to patient profiles as needed, taking basic vitals of patients and communicating any patient concerns to the physician/medical team.

Responsibilities include:

• Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
• Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature and reporting patient history summary.
• Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding and keeping patient information confidential.
• Help with office procedures as needed.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Our client has a very strict protocol currently due to the pandemic and provides personal protective equipment and hand sanitizer to employees.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks required.
• Calm, positive and empathetic personality.
