The Production Manager will partner closely with the executive leadership team to meet the company’s goals. What you’ll be doing:
  • Partner with customers, sales, and design teams to create project plans and timelines.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase product quality and capacity.
  • Establish equipment, material, and manpower requirements for project execution.
  • Create a project budget and manage expenses within the budget.
  • Manage employee recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions, retention, and terminations.
  • Order materials to ensure barges are stocked and job materials are received on time.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings and make certain safety protocols are followed by all employees.
What you have to offer:
  • Marine construction experience is required.
  • 8 to 10+ years of production management expertise.
  • Proven track record in building, motivating, and retaining high-performance teams.
  • Capable of being on-call as necessary to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), production management software, and Google Docs.
  • Must be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and policies.
Compensation:
 
This exciting, full-time opportunity offers career growth potential and the ability to make an impact, helping people in the community. Starting compensation includes a competitive salary between $100,000 and $150,000 per year depending on experience, plus a generous bonus. The benefit plan includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. There are paid vacation days (amount increases with tenure) and paid holidays. There is also a 401k with a 10% match, a company-provided vehicle, an education reimbursement program, and much more!
