Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) is leading a search for a Quality Control Manager for our client, a national leader in professional cultivation solutions. This is a full-time role located in Denver, CO, and will be based in our client’s operational warehouse. We are seeking someone with 1+ years of quality control and/or regulatory experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing / production environment.

As the Quality Control and Regulatory Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the operations team and will report directly to the VP of Operations. The key functions of the job will be managing quality control processes and data, understanding state regulations, registering products at the state level and with the EPA, supporting the product development process and communicating with outside labs.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 1+ years of quality control and/or regulatory experience
• Product registration experience preferred (state department of agriculture and pesticides)
• Organizational skills/attention to detail
• Ability to communicate well with management and operations team
• Manages quality control processes
• Researches multi-state and EPA regulations
• Maintains Safety Data Sheets for all products
• Creates Certificates of Analysis
• Organizes 3^rd party laboratory data
• Registers products at the state level and with the EPA
• Supports label creation and review
• Creates quality control and regulatory processes for products in development
• Coordinates testing with outside labs for products in development

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary on this role is $55k + a bonus plan for 2021. There is also a full benefits package including: Medical: Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem, Dental: Northeast Delta Dental (both after 60 days of employment and employee pays 20% of plan and our client pays 80%), Life Insurance and Long Term Disability at no cost to the employee, and three weeks’ vacation plus paid holidays and sick time.
