Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Recruiter for our client, an organization providing lifelong services to persons of all abilities in Washington, PA! This is a wonderful, hybrid, full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a mission-driven team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Determine appropriate recruiting strategy and develop specific recruitment plans based on type and volume of vacancies.
  • Manage the recruitment process by sourcing (generating applicant pools), screening, evaluating, and interviewing applicants, and providing recommendations for the selection of hires.
  • Make offers to candidates as requested.
  • Partner with management on seasonal hiring needs, coordinating efforts with enough lead time to fill jobs in a timely manner.
  • Manage co-op/internship programs in partnership with leadership.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with professional organizations to promote opportunities and participate in events as appropriate.
  • Anticipate recruitment problems before they occur; proactively identify possible solutions to complex issues.
  • Consistently communicate with hiring managers in all phases of the recruitment life cycle.
  • Advise hiring managers of compliance with employment laws and regulations related to the recruiting process.
  • Maintain communication with applicants to keep them informed of their status.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date, and accurate records of position and applicant activity.
  • Consistently meet (or exceed) set recruiting targets, as assigned.
  • Complete required trainings as assigned.
  • Attend required meetings as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in the medical, health, human services, or nonprofit background preferred.
  • Proficient in using Internet resources, in-person interaction, industry relationships, and other creative approaches to advance the recruiting function.
  • Proficient in current recruitment technology, trends, and developing data analytics for recruitment systems.


COMPENSATION:
This opportunity offers a salary of $60,000 to $65,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays).
